David Hampton is co-owner of Metroflex Gym Midcities and has a passion for helping “whip” people into shape in a short period of time. David completed his personal training at the Cooper Institute of Dallas and has also trained with the world renowned personal trainer of the original Metroflex Gym of Arlington, Brian Dobson. Brian has trained the likes of 8 Times Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman. David works with individuals of all levels but specializes in power lifting, bodybuilding, and overall strength and conditioning. David also has a background in Muay Tai in which he trained for 13 years and Judo for 4 years in Dallas/Fort Worth. David is a NPC Men's Physique Competitor.
Lory Fuller is co-owner of Metroflex Gym Midcities and is no stranger to the gym environment and has completed her training with ISSA. Since moving to the DFW area back in 2002, Lory has advocated the health benefits of being in shape, eating properly and enhancing the body and the immune system with proper supplements. Lory has been a nutritional consultant for the past 7 years and has trained and educated numerous clients in overall health and fitness. At 44 and the mother of 2 boys, Lory is in the best shape of her life and loves helping women achieve their overall fitness goals as well teaching them lifestyle changes that can fit into their busy schedules. Lory is a NPC Bikini Competitor.
Dustin M. Rhoads as been involved with the Health and Fitness industry for the past 9 years. He is a National Level All Natural Men's Physique Athlete and MASTER Personal/Online Trainer. 100% Drug (legal or illegal) and Alcohol FREE. Worked for LA Fitness, Inc., as a personal trainer, where he became Head Trainer of the Year in 2008. After a period of time, Dustin M. Rhoads got promoted to Training Assistant Manager, then later became the Fitness Director/Head Trainer for LA Fitness. Dustin M. Rhoads is certified through ASFA (American Sports and Fitness Association), MASTER Certified, and continued his education at ATI (career training school) for NASM CPT, NASM CES, and NASM PES certifications, as well as educating himself through his own research and development.
Roland Solis is the boxing instructor at Metroflex Gym Midcities, has boxed professionally for 10 years and is a seven time tough man champion. Boxing classes are Tuesday-Thursday from 7:15 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The class is a high intensity cardio base class designed to burn body fat while building lean muscle. Metroflex Gym Midcities and Roland have assembled a fight team that has attended several boxing tournaments such as the Golden Gloves. Our fight team now has the 2013 Junior and Super Heavy Weight Champions as members. First class is free, kids classes available.
Cross Training is a core strength and conditioning program. The exercises vary from weightlifting, running and throwing, to interval training and gymnastics. Cross Training is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.
The Cross Training Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. This fitness is demanded of military and police personnel, firefighters, and many sports requiring total or complete physical prowess. Cross Training has proven effective in these arenas.

CROSS TRAINING CLASSES FOR (3 days a week - $75/month, 5 days a week - $100/month) includes free access to gym and all equipment during regular business hours. Class times are 5 a.m., noon and 5:15 p.m. and last one hour.
In April of 2010, I suffered a complete fracture of my left leg requiring 3 major surgeries and the use of several bolts and a plate to hold my leg together. In July of the same year I had my last surgery and was advised by the surgeon and the physical therapist that it would take 4 months to walk. Two weeks later I limped in to Metroflex Midcities. All I could do was walk from my car to the front desk and had to sit down. My first day I walked 9 minutes at half a mile pace on the treadmill. In an age of air conditioned "globo" gyms, Metroflex is the real deal. This is the real deal hard-core gym that actually gives each and every client one on one personal attention. The owner asked me what I needed and actually got me equipment to help me with my rehab. The atmosphere in the gym fosters serious camaraderie and a fierce work ethic. After 4 months of training at Metroflex, I just finished a 5K race, have gained 20 lbs of serious muscle and caused my Physical Therapist to shake his head in disbelief. This is a truly amazing facility. I have played sports all of my life, so consequently, I have always been a gym rat. Metroflex reminds me a lot of the gym I came up in: Iron weights, central A/C and a group of guys that really like to get after it. There is nothing plush or comfortable about it! It's a true hard core gym (hot, sweaty and filled with the echoes of yelling and slamming weights)!
The GET SWOLE CLUB (GSC) had become complacent with our previous gym. We went mainly for the convenience. But waiting on equipment, the constant side conversations and constant reminders to not drop the heavy weights quickly became a thing of the past. When we heard a Metroflex was opening up near by, we were all chopping at the bit to get it there. And I must say, it is everything a hard core gym rat could ask for.

Metroflex is the leader of all hardcore gyms! I am glad to be a part of it. The equipment and atmosphere are great!!! Just as soon as I walk through the door my mind and body shift into overdrive. I get one hell of a workout each and every time I go. Flipping the tractor tire, pulling the sled and using the sledge hammer are a few of my favorite exercises that Metroflex offers. The LOUD heavy metal music really gets me going! The equipment has the old school feel, which I love! Back to the basics is my motto. In this gym you can do no wrong. Sweat, yell, cuss, drop weights, whatever!! Do what you need to do, to get the weight up. You can't find this in todays modern fitness clubs! Only here at Metroflex!

I remember the first time I had the “Metroflex Experience” I was 12 years old, and tagged along with my brother on leg day at Metroflex Arlington. When I got into training, I remembered that experience and knew where I needed to be if I wanted to make something out of myself. Metroflex MidCities is not just a gym, it's a lifestyle.
